Bregman’s home run in the seventh inning breaks the tie and propels the Houston Astros to a 4-3 victory over the Miami Marlins

The Houston Astros defeated the Miami Marlins 4-3 on Tuesday night thanks in large part to Alex Bregman’s three runs scored, including a game-winning two-run home run in the seventh inning.

After Chas McCormick reached base after a throwing error, the score was tied 2-2 when Bregman hit a pitch from Huascar Brazobán into the left field seats with two outs. Bregman commented, “Our offense has been hitting well lately and making good contact. Even though we didn’t have a lot of runners on base today, we found a way to get the job done.” The victory was Houston’s seventh straight home game, coming after the team lost its final two games of their series in Minnesota.
