Birmingham City Sign Exciting Young Prospect from Premier League Giants
Birmingham City have completed the signing of highly-rated young midfielder, Alex Richards, from Premier League side Manchester United. The 19-year-old has penned a four-year deal at St Andrew’s, with the Blues beating off stiff competition from several top-flight clubs to secure his signature.
Richards, a England Under-19 international, has already made a big impact in United’s youth ranks, scoring crucial goals in the FA Youth Cup and Premier League 2. He becomes Lee Bowyer’s first signing of the summer, and the Blues boss is thrilled to have landed such a promising talent.
