Warriors update: Bevan French discusses the ambitious goals of Wigan Warriors and the Super League’s potential opportunity in………

Bevan French has shared that one of the reasons he decided to commit to a long-term future with Wigan Warriors is the club’s high aspirations.

Under head coach Matt Peet, Wigan is experiencing a period of great success, currently holding all four major trophies: the Super League title, League Leader’s Shield, Challenge Cup, and World Club Challenge.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Wigan and their nearby rivals, Warrington Wolves, will be bringing a Super League match to Las Vegas in 2025. This move is part of the NRL’s expansion into the USA, which began in March.

Wigan Warriors are known for their ambitious approach, having previously hosted games in Wollongong, Millwall, and now Las Vegas, while also organizing various events throughout the season to connect with the local community.

“I always hoped the Super League would eventually go there, but I didn’t expect it to happen this soon,” French commented to the media in Manchester after the announcement on Tuesday morning.
