Miguel Oliveira Denies Honda Switch Rumors
Portimão, Portugal – MotoGP rider Miguel Oliveira has denied rumors that he is in talks to join Honda for the 2025 season.
Oliveira, who currently rides for the RNF MotoGP Team on the Aprilia bike, was asked about the speculation during a press conference.
“I’m not in talks with Honda, and I’m focused on my current season with RNF,” Oliveira said. “I’m happy with my team and bike, and I’m working hard to achieve our goals.”
The rumors suggested that Oliveira was being considered as a replacement for Marc Márquez’s teammate, but Oliveira dismissed the claims.
“I don’t know where these rumors come from, but they’re not true,” Oliveira said. “I’m committed to RNF and Aprilia, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.”
Oliveira’s denial has put to rest speculation about his future, and he can now focus on the remainder of the 2024 season.
