ATLANTA BRAVES STAR RONALD ACUÑA JR. Sidelined INDEFINITELY WITH INJURY

Atlanta, GA – In a devastating blow to the Atlanta Braves, star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. has been sidelined indefinitely with a severe knee injury. The news comes after Acuña Jr. left Saturday’s game against the Mets in the fifth inning, clutching his knee in pain.

Initial reports indicated a mild sprain, but further examination revealed a torn ACL, requiring surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation process.

“We’re heartbroken for Ronald,” said Braves manager, Brian Snitker. “He’s a vital part of our team, and his absence will be deeply felt.”

Acuña Jr., a two-time All-Star and Silver Slugger award winner, was having an MVP-caliber season, batting .320 with 25 home runs and 60 RBIs.

The Braves have called up top prospect, Drew Waters, to fill the void left by Acuña Jr.’s absence.
