DALLAS MAVERICKS COACH JASON KIDD INVOLVED IN HEATED EXCHANGE WITH STAR PLAYER LUKA DONCIC
Dallas, TX – Tensions ran high at the American Airlines Center yesterday as Dallas Mavericks coach Jason Kidd was involved in a heated exchange with star player Luka Doncic during practice.
According to sources, the disagreement stemmed from Kidd’s criticism of Doncic’s recent performances, which the young superstar took as a personal attack.
“I’m just trying to get the best out of him,” Kidd said in a statement. “Sometimes that means pushing buttons.
Doncic, however, felt Kidd’s approach was overly harsh and publically embarrassing.
“I understand Coach wants to win, but there’s a way to do it without disrespecting me,” Doncic said.
The exchange has raised concerns about the team’s chemistry and Kidd’s coaching style.
