TENSION IN THE PIT: JIMMY PROCK AND ROBERT HIGHT IN HEATED DISAGREEMENT

Yorba Linda, CA – A shocking development has rocked the John Force Racing team, as crew chief Jimmy Prock and driver Robert Hight were involved in a serious disagreement during Saturday’s qualifying session at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event in Pomona.

According to eyewitnesses, the argument stemmed from a disagreement over the setup of Hight’s Auto Club of Southern California Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car. Prock, who has been Hight’s crew chief for several years, was reportedly unhappy with Hight’s feedback on the car’s performance, leading to a heated exchange between the two.

“It was a pretty intense conversation,” said a team source, who wished to remain anonymous. “Jimmy and Robert have always had a great relationship, but it seems like there’s some frustration building between them.”

Hight, who is currently second in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series standings, declined to comment on the situation. Prock also refused to speak on the matter, citing a need to focus on the upcoming race.

John Force, team owner and Hight’s teammate, downplayed the incident, saying: “These things happen in the heat of competition. We’ll work it out and move forward.”

The disagreement has raised questions about the stability of the team and the impact it may have on their performance in the remainder of the season.
