MIGUEL OLIVEIRA SUFFERS DEVASTATING CRASH AT AUSTRIAN GP, SEASON IN JEOPARDY
Miguel Oliveira’s promising season has been dealt a severe blow after a brutal crash during qualifying at the Austrian GP. The Portuguese rider suffered a heavy high-side crash at Turn 4, leaving him with severe injuries.
Initial reports indicate that Oliveira has suffered
– A broken collarbone
– A punctured lung
– Severe bruising and lacerations
Oliveira was airlifted to a nearby hospital for further treatment and is currently undergoing surgery.
The RNF MotoGP Team has released a statement saying:
Miguel’s crash is a devastating blow to our team. We’re all thinking of him and wishing him a speedy recovery. His season is in jeopardy, but our main concern is his health and well-being.
This crash comes as a significant setback for Oliveira, who had been showing promising form this season. His participation in the remainder of the season is now uncertain.
