NHRA PRO STOCK CLASS RETURNS TO FULL SEASON STATUS FOR 2024

The NHRA announced today that the Pro Stock class will return as a full-season category for the 2024 campaign, featuring a complete 21-race schedule.

After a successful partial-season return in 2023, the Pro Stock class will once again be a staple of the NHRA tour, with events at all 21 national events, including the prestigious U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.

We are thrilled to bring back Pro Stock as a full-season class,” said NHRA President Glen Cromwell. “The fans have been clamoring for it, and we’re excited to deliver. It’s going to be a great season.

The Pro Stock class features some of the most iconic names in drag racing, including Greg Anderson, Erica Enders, and Chris McGaha. The class is known for its intense competition and side-by-side racing, with cars reaching speeds of over 200 mph.

The 2024 NHRA Pro Stock schedule will kick off at the Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida, on March 14-17, and will conclude at the Auto Club Finals in Pomona, California, on November 14-17.

We’re looking forward to a great season, said Greg Anderson, the winningest driver in Pro Stock history. “It’s going to be a tough battle, but we’re ready for it.
