LANDO NORRIS LEFT FRUSTRATED AFTER FINISHING BEHIND MAX VERSTAPPEN AT BELGIAN GRAND PRIX
Lando Norris expressed his frustration after a disappointing Belgian Grand Prix, finishing behind title rival Max Verstappen.
Norris, who started third on the grid, struggled to match the pace of Verstappen and Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez, ultimately crossing the line in fourth place.
I’m really disappointed with that result, said Norris. “I messed up another race and lost points to Max. It’s not what I needed.
The McLaren driver admitted to making mistakes on the track, including a slow pit stop and a struggle to warm up his tires.
I didn’t do a good enough job today,” said Norris. “I need to regroup and come back stronger at the next race.
The result sees Norris fall further behind Verstappen in the drivers’ championship, with the Red Bull driver now leading by 46 points.
“It’s not over yet, but it’s getting tougher said Norris. “I’ll keep pushing and try to close the gap.
