SYDNEY ROOSTERS SUFFER MAJOR INJURY BLOW AS STAR PLAYER LUKELUKE KEARY RULLED OUT FOR SEASON WITH SERIOUS KNEE INJURY
The Sydney Roosters have been dealt a devastating blow with star playmaker Luke Keary ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a serious knee injury.
Keary suffered a torn ACL in Friday night’s win over the Canterbury Bulldogs and will undergo surgery next week.
The club is shattered for Luke,” said Sydney Roosters coach, Trent Robinson. He’s a key player and a leader in our team. His absence will be felt.
The injury comes at a crucial time for the Roosters, who are currently sitting in third place on the NRL ladder.
Losing Luke is a huge blow, but we have to move forward,” said Robinson. “We have a strong squad and we’ll find a way to adapt.
Keary’s injury is a major setback for the Roosters’ premiership aspirations, and fans are reeling from the news.
This is a disaster,” said Sydney Roosters fan, Mark Davis. “Luke is our best player. How are we going to replace him?
The Roosters will have to regroup and find a way to overcome the loss of their star player if they hope to make a deep run in the playoffs.
