Boston Bruins Bolster Roster with Two Major Signings as NHL Free Agency Opens
The Boston Bruins have made a splash in the NHL free agency market,
adding significant firepower to their roster with two high-profile signings.
As the free agency period officially kicks off, the Bruins have secured the
talents of forward Lucas Peterson and defenseman Max Thompson,
signaling a bold move to strengthen their lineup for the upcoming season.
Peterson, a dynamic forward known for his scoring prowess and
playmaking ability, joins the Bruins after an impressive stint with the
Toronto Maple Leafs. The 27-year-old Swede has consistently been a top
performer, and his addition is expected to provide a major boost to
Boston’s offensive capabilities. Peterson inked a five-year deal worth $7.5
million annually, underscoring the Bruins’ commitment to enhancing their
forward depth.
On the blue line, the Bruins have acquired Max Thompson, a 28-year-old

Thompson, who was previously with the Calgary Flames, has signed a four-
year contract valued at $6 million per year. His arrival is anticipated to

end.
