Ipswich Town FC’s summer transfer activity continues with Pigott signing

Ipswich, England – Ipswich Town FC has announced the signing of striker, Joe Pigott, from AFC Wimbledon on a two-year deal.

The 28-year-old joins the Tractor Boys after scoring 25 goals in 95 appearances for Wimbledon, and is expected to bolster Ipswich’s attacking options ahead of the new season.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Ipswich Town FC,” said Pigott. “The club’s history and fanbase are incredible, and I’m excited to contribute to the team’s success.

Ipswich Town FC manager, Kieran McKenna, added: “Joe is a talented striker with a proven track record of scoring goals. We’re delighted to bring him to the club and look forward to seeing him in action.”

Pigott’s signing follows the recent additions of goalkeeper, Christian Walton, and midfielder, Lee Evans, as Ipswich Town FC continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
