IPSWICH TOWN BOSS KIERAN McKENNA PROVIDES UPDATE ON INJURED PLAYERS

Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has provided an update on the fitness of several key players ahead of the new season.

Speaking to the club’s official website, McKenna confirmed that Nathan Broadhead, Omari Hutchinson, and Harry Clarke are all making good progress in their recoveries from injury.

Nathan is doing well, he’s on track and we’re hopeful he’ll be back in training soon,” McKenna said. “Omari is also progressing well, he’s been working hard and we’re expecting him to be back in the fold soon.

However, McKenna revealed that Ali Al-Hamadi and Cameron Humphreys are facing longer spells on the sidelines. “Ali and Cameron are taking a bit longer, but we’re confident they’ll be back to their best soon.

McKenna also expressed his satisfaction with the squad’s pre-season preparations so far. “We’ve had a good few weeks of training, and the lads are looking sharp. We’re excited for the new season to get underway.

Ipswich Town kicks off their Premier League campaign against Liverpool on August 17.
