GEORGIA BULLDOGS FLIP COMMITMENT OF 2026 4-STAR DB DOMINICK KELLY

The Georgia Bulldogs have secured a major recruiting victory, flipping the commitment of 2026 4-star defensive back Dominick Kelly from the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Kelly, a highly touted prospect from Savannah, Georgia, had previously committed to Alabama in June. However, after a visit to Athens last weekend, Kelly decided to switch his allegiance to the Bulldogs.

“Georgia has always been my dream school,” Kelly said in a statement. “I’m excited to stay home and play in front of my family and friends.”

Kelly is considered one of the top defensive backs in the class of 2026, with exceptional speed, agility, and ball-hawking skills. His commitment is a significant boost to Georgia’s recruiting class, which is already ranked among the top 10 nationally.

“Dom is an incredible talent, and we’re thrilled to have him join the Bulldog family,” said Georgia head coach Kirby Smart. “He’s got all the tools to be a shutdown corner at this level.

Kelly’s decision is seen as a major coup for Smart and his staff, who have made recruiting the state’s top talent a priority.
